World Day of Theatre for Children
The World Day of Theatre for Children is a matter of education and cultural policy. Theatres use the 20th March to show that they do important work and that they reach people of all ages.
The ASSITEJ manifesto from 2020 functions as a basis for on-site activities (open days, family performances, workshops, audio walks, games, etc.) The goal is to become active for children’s rights.
Because: every child and every young person has to right to participate in art and culture!
Every theatre can take part in World Day of Theatre for Children, and we invite all ASSITEJ members to mark this day as a special day when planning their season. We use our digital network to make our valuable analogue networking activities doubly and triply visible for our young audiences.#Takeachildtothetheatre#WorldDayofTYA
